I am Coco, an Italian woman, a free spirit and a dreamer.
As a yoga teacher, I have always worked with women, trying to share my journey on the sacred feminine path, creating my own personal way of moving my body and expressing myself with harmony, grace, love and authenticity.
I have always been fascinated by female figures in different matriarchal cultures and during my travels I got close to some healers, trying to learn rituals and ceremonies that would integrate with my way of being.
In constant evolution, flowing in search of what I wanted to convey, which was in accordance with my nature, I clearly felt that I wanted to focus on ceremonies and rituals.
Since moving to Ericeira, I have realised that I celebrate life every day with small gestures and savour it. So my journey is a precious ritual. And that is why I want to pay tribute to every woman through ‘La Cerrada’, a massage with rebozo and a bone closing ritual.
Considered a rite of passage, it is an ancient traditional Mexican practice.
Although its use is best known after childbirth, it can be received at any time in a woman’s life, when she wishes to honour her cyclical nature.
